EC3 Name Drops Tons Of AEW Talent To Throw Scent Off Impact Return

All signs point to EC3 returning to Impact on July 18 for the Slammiversary PPV. That isn’t stopping EC3 from trying to control the narrative and throw the scent off joining Impact. In EC3’s latest video, he name drops over fifteen references to AEW and even displays their logo in the background.

The speech starts creatively with the early reference, “You feel like you’re left out to hang, man.” EC3 continues with a clearer name-drop, “The state of things has fallen into this dark order.” Then, he goes overboard with cues to Brian Cage, Inner Circle, Best Friends, Young Bucks, Exalted One, Fenix, Jon Moxley, Sonny Kiss, Kenny Omega, the Elite, and AEW. I didn’t pick up the references to Cody Rhodes, SCU, and Jungle Boy on the fist listen. I may have missed one or two more.

EC3 created an interesting way to keep his name in the news, but it seems too obvious of a red herring to join AEW instead of Impact. I’m not biting.
