With Sami Callihan recently winning the IMPACT World Championship, plans are being made to create a new No. 1 contender.
IMPACT Wrestling announced that a five-person elimination match will take place on November 19 on AXS TV where the winner gets to be the top contender for Callihan's title. The five people announced for the match are Michael Elgin, Rich Swann, Moose, Tessa Blanchard and Daga.
But before that match can take place, Callihan will have to face Brian Cage in a title rematch. The two will fight for the title at the upcoming Turning Point event on November 9 in Hazleton, PA. Fightful will have full results for Turning Point.
Callihan captured the title on the October 29 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, which served as the first fully-new episode on AXS TV. The two did battle in a cage match, with Blanchard hitting the ring to challenge Callihan after the match.
