IMPACT Wrestling Tease The Return Of Eric Young By Showing His Old Ring Attire In Latest Video

At the end of this week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, fans were treated to familiar music and a close up of a costume with the letter “E” on it. For old TNA fans, they will quickly identify the music and costume as Eric Young’s alter ego super hero gimmick “Super Eric”. The gimmick was last seen in 2008, when Young enjoyed success as a TNA World Tag Team Champion with Kaz AKA Frankie Kazarian.

At the end of the tease, a hand can be seen grabbing the mask. Eric Young last worked for Impact in 2016, and after 12 years of working for them, he signed with WWE and became the leader of the NXT stable Sanity. Once the stable disbanded in 2019, Young became an enhancement talent appearing sporadically on Raw & Main Event, til he was released from contract during the COVID-19 pandemic budget cuts.
