As recently reported by Indypw.com sources, Jinder Mahal is set to return to WWE soon. While an exact date is not known at the moment due to WWE's constant changing of plans, Mahal has been cleared to compete and sources tell us he is likely to return under the Modern Day Maharaja. It is rumored that Jinder Mahal would be reuniting with the Singh brothers and that the trio would be on the Smackdown brand. Furthermore, Mahal would have a strong return and would be in line for another title reign down the line.
Jinder Mahal last competed on June 15th, 2019 in Denver, Colorado in a match against Ali. During the match however, Mahal suffered a ruptured patella tendon. Mahal would share this information after a successful surgery through his instagram account on June 28th, 2019. Mahal was back to the gym several weeks later already training for his return to active competition. Mahal was back in the ring in October training for an in-ring return according to his social media.
