JUICE ROBINSON ANSWERS BULLY RAY'S CHALLENGE FOR NYC STREET FIGHT AT G1 SUPERCARD

The top stars of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling converge on Madison Square Garden in New York City on April 6 for the historic G1 Supercard. Under the bright lights and on the grand stage of “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” the best of the best in pro wrestling will do battle.

At ROH’s 17th Anniversary pay-per-view on March 15, Bully Ray issued an open challenge to face him in a New York City Street Fight at G1 Supercard. That challenge was answered by Juice Robinson at Road to G1 Supercard in Baltimore on March 31, and it’s official that Bully Ray and the LifeBlood leader will square off at MSG.

Robinson answered Bully’s challenge in dramatic fashion.

After LifeBlood’s Mark Haskins defeated Silas Young, Bully took issue with referee Todd Sinclair’s officiating and tried to bully him into reversing the decision. When Sinclair refused, Bully threatened to take it out on Haskins, who was down after having been attacked by Young after the match.

Before Bully and Silas could make good on their threat to put Haskins through a table, Robinson and fellow LifeBlood members Bandido and Tracy Williams came down to the ring, and Bully and Silas retreated. Robinson then demanded that Bully step into the ring and face him.

“It’s you and me at MSG,” Robinson said as he shoved the microphone into Bully’s chest.

Ever since Robinson, the current IWGP U.S. Champion, made his intention known late last year that he was going to be spending a lot more time in ROH, it seemed inevitable that there would be a showdown between him and Bully.

When Robinson formed LifeBlood, he said the group’s mission statement is to restore honor to ROH. A significant factor in Robinson putting LifeBlood together was the controversial incident in December when Bully, Young, the Briscoes and Shane Taylor crashed The Elite’s in-ring farewell speech and proceeded to beat down The Elite, ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, Flip Gordon and other wrestlers and ring crew members.

Bully and his partners in crime have continued to terrorize ROH wrestlers, referees and other employees. At G1 Supercard, Robinson will be fighting for all of them when he attempts to rid ROH of the plague that is Bully Ray.

G1 Supercard takes place this Saturday, April 6 from New York City and airs LIVE on pay-per-view and FREE for ALL HonorClub members! Join now at ROHHonorClub.com
