ALL ELITE WRESTLING - AEW NEWSLatest on the status of AEW Double or Nothing PPV ByAndrew RavensPublished on March 27, 2020 AEW is scheduled to hold their Double or Nothing pay-per-view event on May 23rd in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The promotion is also slated to hold a live Dynamite episode on May 27th from the same venue which will serve as the post-episode for the Double or Nothing. All Elite Wrestling has yet to cancel or reschedule the second pay-per-view event of the year for them. The status of the event is up in the air due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the promotion is delaying the announcement of whether the event will take place as scheduled or be postponed. They have a few options regarding this show. AEW could have the show with fans in attendance, hold the show from the same venue with no fans, move the show to a different location without fans or postpone the show to a different date. It was noted that “right now all of those calls are wait and see and likely in the end, out of their hands.” It should be noted that the MGM Grand Arena is even closed until further notice.
