Top WWE Stars Heading Back To New Japan Pro Wrestling?
Updated: Jul 31, 2018
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer, a number of top WWE talent have their contracts coming up soon. These include WWE Champion AJ Styles, US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and their contracts expire in early 2019. Meltzer also noted that New Japan Pro Wrestling are very interested in bringing Nakamura back, especially with his increased name recognition. You can listen to Wrestling Observer Radio HERE.
This is very interesting since the only talents that I could see leaving the WWE would be the team of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson. Since joining the WWE they really haven't been used properly since leaving one of the hottest factions in all of pro wrestling right now the Bullet Club. But who knows since I personally follow Karl Anderson on social media and with Instagram in particular he seems to be extremely happy where he's at but you never know what they would prefer.
I would love for "The Club" to return to the independent wrestling scene. Maybe have them join Impact Wrestling since for those who did not know before they debuted with WWE they were in talks with TNA back in November 2015 with Dixie Carter but a contract was never signed. AJ Styles as much as I would love for him to come back home with Impact Wrestling or even to go back to NJPW or ROH I feel like he's in a great spot where he's at in the WWE. And as for Shinsuke Nakamura he's slowly going back to the main event picture scene and is most likely due for a WWE Championship run. I guess we will have to just wait and see what develops over these next few months.
Let us know who you would like to see leave the WWE and either go back to NJPW or join ROH or Impact Wrestling? Do you think that the WWE will be able to keep them all and resign them? Let us know with your response in the comment section down below.
